As part of the Women in Aviation & Aerospace Charter’s Meet the Signatories series, members of the Charter explain why they joined the Charter, and what steps they have since taken to ensure the inclusion of women in the sectors.

Next in the series, we talk to London Luton Airport:

Why did you join the Women in Aviation & Aerospace Charter?

At London Luton Airport (LLA), we’re optimistic about the future and the opportunities ahead. Just one of these opportunities, is addressing gender balance and the progression of women at LLA. That’s why we’re proud to have signed up to the Women in Aviation & Aerospace Charter.

What steps are your organisation now taking to help improve gender balance in the industry?

HR Director, Janice Keyes says:

“Despite the catastrophic impact COVID has had on our industry, we remain hopeful and energised for recovery. Now, more than ever – we’re going to need the expertise, skills and knowledge of a diverse range of leaders, and I for one am delighted to bring some gender diversity to our senior levels.”
